Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 12, 2026
1. Introduction
At CoachPlate, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform. Please read this privacy policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the platform.
We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason. We will alert you about any changes by updating the "Last updated" date of this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect
Personal Information
We collect information that you provide directly to us, including:
- Name and contact information (email address, phone number)
- Account credentials (username and password)
- Profile information (organization name, role, profile photo)
- Payment and billing information
- Communications with us (support requests, feedback)
Health and Fitness Data
When using CoachPlate, you may provide or we may collect:
- Meal plans and nutrition information
- Workout plans and exercise data
- Progress photos and measurements
- Check-in forms and questionnaire responses
- Daily logs and activity tracking
Apple Health Data
If you use the CoachPlate iOS app and choose to connect Apple Health, we read the following data types from HealthKit, with your explicit permission, granted separately for each type through Apple's own permission system:
- Step count
- Active and resting energy burned (calories)
- Body mass (weight)
- Sleep analysis
This data is used solely to pre-fill your Daily Log within CoachPlate, saving you from entering it manually. It is stored on our servers and shared with your trainer the same way any other Daily Log entry is (see "How We Share Your Information" below) — it is never used for advertising or analytics, and we never sell it to third parties or data brokers. You can disconnect Apple Health at any time from the app's Settings screen, which stops future syncing; your previously synced entries remain part of your Daily Log history unless you separately request their deletion.
